Meet The UAA Team

Chief Executive Officer

Tom joined United Aesthetics Alliance in May 2024 as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Tom is excited to guide the organization to become the premier plastic surgery and medical spa platform in the industry, focusing on building strong partnerships supported by clinical excellence. Tom most recently was CEO of Amerivet, a leading consolidator and operator of veterinary hospitals across the United States, where he led the expansion from two practices to over 200 in five years.

Prior to Amerivet Tom has been the CEO of United Allergy Services, and served in leadership positions for medical device and pharmaceutical companies like Eli Lilly and 3M. Tom has built winning cultures in every company he has led and has been recognized with multiple Business of the Year, Best Place to Work, and High Growth awards, locally and nationally. Tom was recently awarded the 2022 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the South Central Region and was a National top 10 finalist. Tom and his wife live in San Antonio Texas with two children and four dogs. He enjoys fishing, ranching, skiing, traveling, gardening and watching live sports. Tom holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from The University of Michigan.

Chief Financial Officer

David Hinton joined United Aesthetics Alliance as its Chief Financial Officer in December 2024. David has over 25 years of experience working with rapidly growing public and private companies, including 15+ years in healthcare organizations delivering diverse types of care. 

David has built a career as a collaborative leader who thrives in periods of transformative growth and change. He is known for designing, building, and leading teams that not only deliver excellent results but also foster a positive and supportive work environment where people genuinely enjoy working together. David strives to develop a deep understanding of the business and uses that knowledge to support the team in executing on strategic levers to drive growth. 

David earned his Bachelor of Accounting and MBA in Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, Angela, and daughters, Lakin and Halle.  David lives in Dallas TX and is a huge Cowboys fan. 

Chief Development Officer

Ben joined United Aesthetics Alliance in February 2024 as the company’s Chief Development Officer, overseeing strategic growth initiatives. Ben is passionate about supporting our aesthetic specialists in building Exceptional Partnerships that Transform Lives and working collaboratively with our partner practices to expand their influence. Ben most recently led platform partnerships as a Senior Vice President for National Veterinary Associates, where he and his team completed transactions valued at over $3 billion involving over 100 specialty and general practices. Prior to National Veterinary Associates, Ben was a healthcare transaction adviser working primarily with multi-site physician practices and integrated health systems. Ben, his wife Kristina, three sons, and family dog live in Thousand Oaks, California. He enjoys reading, investing, traveling, and family movie nights. Ben graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics.

Vice President, Operations

Shweta joined United Aesthetics Alliance in August 2024 as the company’s Vice President of Operations, overseeing operations and growth of our practices nationwide. Shweta is particularly keen on standardizing workflows and processes, instilling business rigor, and sharing best practices across UAA’s locations. Shweta was most recently Regional President at Sound Physicians, where she managed and operated multi-site and multi-service line practices with revenues totaling over $450 million.  She held key relationships with large hospital systems for the organization, managed the telemedicine platform, and led the organization through change management initiatives.  Shweta and her husband live in San Antonio with their three boys.  She enjoys traveling, classical dancing, swimming, and skiing.  Shweta holds a BA from Rice University, an MHA/MBA from the University of Houston, and a JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Vice President, Accounting

Victoria joined United Aesthetics Alliance in August 2024 as the company’s Vice President of Accounting, overseeing all financial operations and reporting. Victoria thrives on enabling business growth through creating strong financial processes and controls, and delivering timely, insightful reporting. Victoria was most recently Vice President of Accounting at Anne Arundel Dermatology, where she streamlined multi-entity reporting and treasury as the company doubled in size to revenues totaling over $250 million. Victoria lives in Washington DC where she enjoys hiking, traveling, and game nights with friends and family. Victoria graduated from the University of Maryland with BS degrees in Accounting and Information Systems and holds an active CPA license.

Vice President, People Support

Katie joined United Aesthetics Alliance in December 2024 as the VP of People Support, overseeing all Human Resource functions, including performance management, recruiting, and benefits. Drawn by UAA’s fast pace, high growth plans, and its focus on patient and employee experience, Katie brings 20 years of experience growing and scaling multi-unit private equity-backed businesses across luxury retail, restaurants, and health & wellness. She began her career at Neiman Marcus, where she developed a focus on service, delivering strong results, and fostering a positive work culture.

A native Texan, Katie and her husband and son live in Central Texas, enjoying Tex Mex, hill country views, and an active lifestyle. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and completed an Executive Education program at the McCombs School of Business.

Senior Director, Operations and Strategic Initiatives

Jalan joined United Aesthetics Alliance in December 2024 as Senior Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives. In this role, she supports partner practices by driving operational improvements and implementing growth opportunities to enhance the value of our partnership. Prior to joining UAA, Jalan served as Senior Director of Growth & Client Experience at AmeriVet, a leading consolidator and operator of veterinary hospitals across the United States. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in building the company’s foundation, enabling its expansion from 25 to over 200 practices. She led the operational support team and spearheaded strategic initiatives focused on process development, system implementation, and revenue generation, contributing to more than $250 million in incremental revenue.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, Jalan has a passion for traveling to new countries and is a self-proclaimed foodie, often sought after by friends and family for her restaurant recommendations. She earned a B.A. in Business Administration from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. 

Senior Director, Marketing

Clarissa joined United Aesthetics Alliance in February 2025 as Senior Director of Marketing, focusing on practice growth. She is passionate about blending the art and science of marketing, empowering practices to thrive, and fostering a strong community among practice partners. Prior to this role, Clarissa was the Director of Growth & Retention Marketing at ShopRunner by FedEx, where she established the consumer marketing organization, supporting 80+ brand partners and driving a 3x growth in marketing’s contribution to revenue. Her leadership in the luxury sector spans Fortune 50 companies and small businesses, earning her three awards from the Officers and Boards for innovation and business impact.

Clarissa and her husband live in Miami, where they enjoy golfing, paddleboarding, and traveling. She holds a BS in Business and Marketing from Brigham Young University–Hawaii. 

Senior Director, Information Technology

Michelle joined United Aesthetics Alliance in December 2024 as Senior Director of IT, where she oversees the enterprise-wide technology ecosystem, driving standardization, efficiency, and effectiveness. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, including 25 years in healthcare IT, Michelle has worked across diverse environments ranging from hospitals and physician offices to payers, excelling both as a clinician and in leadership roles. Additionally, she has practiced in Family Practice, Obstetrics, and Emergency Medicine.

Michelle and her husband reside in southern Colorado, where she enjoys fishing, golfing, reading, and quilting. She holds a BS in Nursing from DePaul University and an MSN in Informatics from Loyola University Chicago.
